Steve Chucri was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and his family includes a long-standing history in Arizona. His grandfather, Tony M. Coury, Sr. was created in 1911 in Morenci and as a man started his own car business in downtown Mesa which remained in the family for over 70 years.

Steve graduated from Brophy College Preparatory and later received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of NORTH PARK.

Steve married his wife, Christine, 17 years ago who he met while working on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Today, Steve and Christine have two young boys and are active parishioners at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

steve chucri serves as President & CEO of the Arizona Restaurant Association (ARA), a position he has proudly held since 2002. Under steve chucri and tireless work ethic, the ARA and restaurant industry in Arizona have enjoyed substantial growth and modernization.

As President and CEO of the ARA, Steve Chucri represents business owners and sees firsthand the way the actions of local, state, and federal governments can impact restaurants and other smaller businesses in Arizona.

Chucri?s experiences as a businessman, husband, and father have given him invaluable insight into the needs of his community and also have ensured that, as County Supervisor, he will continue to put people before politics.
